2019 Polar Plunge

With ice in their veins Team TimeBank took a leap of faith into the frigid waters of Lake Waubesa on February 16th. A huge shout out and thanks goes to the brave (some would say slightly crazy) team of Annie, John, Shay, Ryan, and Ben, who together raised over $1,000 for the TimeBank thru their courageous moment! Mutual Aid Workspace and the Polar Plunge

We want to let you know about a couple of upcoming events. The Mutual Aid Workspace (MAW) at the Social Justice Center is a new coworking and collaboration space. Join us for our opening day celebration and learn what's going on and how you can join in. It's at SJC this Sunday (the 20th) from 12-6pm. The TimeBank will be doing our 2nd Polar Plunge fundraiser. Fall fun!!!

Hello!  As we start our transition into fall, we're busy here at the TimeBank.  With the school year now underway we're getting back to work in the high schools and launching our youth courts with a big change this year.  Officer discretion will no longer be associated with who gets the opportunity to come to youth court.  Now all students at risk of receiving a municipal ticket in the schools will have the opportunity to participate in youth court and avoid an arrest on their record.  With... Help with the flooding

Hi TimeBankers.  As many of you know there has been significant flooding in the area and people are in need of assistance now and likely in the coming weeks.  If you have time to spare, below are some resources and ways that you can help. We are happy to offer timebank hours to anyone assisting with flood relief efforts.  The Dane County TimeBank account can be used as the “payer”.   In addition, the TimeBank is need of drivers to help get people to their medical appointments.  If you can help...
